This 9wks we are working on informational writing and what better way to tell someone how to do something than to have them do it and then write about it. The students love to make things and especially edible treats! We made spider cupcakes and cat cookies this week. After they made their treat, they wrote down the ingredients and then gave specifics on how to make it. The best part of this activitiy was the tasting!
